Terrestrial:

Most streets and roads are asphalted in Panama . The best known road still is The Interamerican . The other highly frequented road is the Transismica, following the Canal, from the capital city to the city of Colon . In order to use the secondary roads, we recommend the use of an all-land vehicle.

Panama city disposes of a big network of buses among which are the famous «  Diablos Rojos (Red Devils)  » that won't go unnoticed with their picturesque paintings and the often sporting way they are driven. Payment is made as going down the bus.
