Discover the surprising and cosmopolitan town of Panama!
With your English guide daytime to discover the « Panama La Vieja » ruins and museum, it was the first city founded by the Spanish in 1519 then continue towards the colonial area called Casco Viejo (a little gem classified by the Unesco as an Humanitarian Patrimony in 1980).
Walk through the alleys of this great colonial area: visit the different churches of the colonial epoch, of the French Plaza, (great view of the modern Panama city) and of the Bolivar Plaza.
Lunch followed by a visit to the Panama Canal Museum. Very interesting visit to dive into the history of the construction of this gem of the 20th century engineering. Lunch in a charm restaurant.

Only 1½ hour from Panama City, dwells the Native Embera Community, that yet lives in a totally traditionally way: Palm trees and natural fibers constructions, multicolor “loincloth” as only clothing, corporal paintings, dances for all occasions… Only one hour drive to the Chagres National Park, then during the pirogue trip you will have the opportunity to watch different types of birds of prey such as vultures, eagles and falcons, as well as exotic birds (parrots, toucans, kingfishes…). |
